Work Your Strengths

The basis of determining a person's strengths and weaknesses in Executive Functions is well grounded in neuropsychology and revolves around these fixed functions associated with the frontal lobes. These functions are also known as Executive Skills, which have nothing to do with executives, because they help you execute tasks. For many years, psychologists have used knowledge of the development of these functions from childhood through adolescence to provide guidelines for assessment and help to children and teenagers. However, it is only recently that this knowledge was taken to the next level, which is helping adults use knowledge about these fixed skills for work and life, notably in our last book, Smarts: Are We Hardwired for Success?
